American Mictchel Motor Bike the forerunner of the Mitchel Car. This was ordinary little round batteries and was a marvellous engine and would have had a world wide sale had the carburettor been a little better, and the gudgeon pins were a little troublesome. The peculiarity of this motor-cycle was the twisted rope, the strands of which were made of leather. You will notice the jockey pulley which tightend the belt. This also had to be pedalled off.

(not sure what was ment by ordinary little round batteries)
